What are the Standing Bear Program's Goals?
Standing Bear aims to engage Indigenous groups in developing solutions to youth leadership barriers.
The main goals of the Standing Bear program are to:
- Engage Indigenous youth, communities, leaders, government, educators, businesses, non-profits, and non-Indigenous peoples in discussions to define issues and solutions for youth leadership.
- Develop a Youth Leadership Program informed by research and consultations with Indigenous youth.
- Deliver youth-focused resources through collaboration and partnerships.
