# What is Team Ontario?

## Team Ontario is the provincial team that attends major events like NAHC and NAIG.

Team Ontario is ISWO's provincial team, representing Ontario at major events like the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) and the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC). This team brings together talented athletes from across the province, showcasing their skills on a national and international stage.

 

Team Ontario aims to promote Indigenous sports and culture while providing athletes with opportunities to compete at high levels. The team fosters a sense of pride and community among participants, encouraging them to excel both on and off the field.
