What is the Ontario Native Lacrosse Invitational and How Do I Register?

Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario (ISWO), in partnership with the Dreamcatcher Foundation, is thrilled to announce the return of the Ontario Native Lacrosse Invitational (ONLI) this spring! This exciting event is part of the "On-the-Road to NAIG 2028" series and promises to be a celebration of talent, pride, and Indigenous lacrosse.

 

Event Details

  • Dates: April 25-26, 2026
  • Location: Iroquois Lacrosse Arena, Hagersville, ON
  • Team Fee: $150 per team
  • Individual Fee: $15 per player
  • Team Size: Maximum of 12 players
  • Game Format:

    • 5 v 5
    • Full floor
    • Non-contact
  • Divisions:

    • U16 Male
    • U19 Male
    • U19 Female
  • Games:

    • Each team is guaranteed 4 games
    • Gold and Bronze medal games
    • Game and Tournament MVP awards

This is an opportunity to connect, compete, and celebrate Indigenous lacrosse at its finest.

Registration Information

How to Register:

You can register as a team or as an individual participant. Registration will open in March 2026.

Participation Guidelines:

  • All participants must reside in Ontario and be First Nation status, Métis, or Inuit.
  • Registered players must provide proof of status/membership and residence.
  • Coaching staff must provide proof of lacrosse certifications and a recent CPIC/Vulnerable Sector check.
