Who can participate in the Standing Bear Programs?
Standing Bear is open to Indigenous youth ages 12-29 residing in Ontario.
All Indigenous youth ages 12-29 can participate in Standing Bear programs. Our goal with the Standing Bear program is to serve the next generation, while also serving the communities, the knowledge keepers, and the elders as well, because it provides opportunities for them to come in and to pass on that knowledge to the next generation.
